Free Your Voice with Amber Field
in this 90 minute workshop participants will engage in sound and breath work, meditation and explore emotions through our voice. This final session of the 6 session series will provide a space for you to express, connect and heal.
Amber Field is a queer, non binary Korean American adoptee performer, teacher and sound healer featured in San Francisco Magazine's Best of the Bay for yoga music. They are a Tamalpa Associate Teacher of Expressive Arts and completed Level 3 of Somatic Voicework, the Lovetri Method. Amber believes that everyone can sing and that our bodies are our instruments. Creative expression practices that have helped them befriend their body and experiences have been key on their healing journey. They specialize in helping people sing, sound & speak their truths with confidence.
Amber has performed and taught at SF Jazz, Esalen, Wanderlust, the Yoga Journal Conference, UC Santa Cruz, SF International Arts Festival, and more. They studied Indian and Western classical music and play didgeridoo, djembe, Arabic tambourine, Native flute, esraj, harmonica, and harmonium.
