Response Art: Exploring the client-therapist relationship

  As clinicians, often in our work we encounter a complex case or a particular client that leaves us feeling stuck, baffled or challenged.

In this morning workshop, attendees will be given an overview of how transference and counter-transference is inherent in our relationships.  Participants will engage in art making to explore a client relationship or clinical case. Through the process of making response art and dialoguing with peers, participants will be able to deepen their understanding of their clients and the clinical relationship within their practice. No prior art experience is required, just a willingness to try a new approach in your work. Bring a particular case in mind to discuss.
